The Innovation Fund is capital entrusted to GPC to find, fund and fuel innovative and collaborative projects that will impact giving platforms and the philanthropy sector at large. We seek to fund projects that are aligned with GPC’s objectives and that take on work that 1) cannot be accomplished by single organization alone, and 2) is made stronger by collaboration.

While we are open to supporting any projects and initiatives that will make our sector more impactful, we plan to put a particular emphasis on supporting the following areas: 

• Equity: Projects and initiatives that intentionally and explicitly address systemic racism, gender equity, and other issues of equity in giving and receiving funds

• Data Sharing & Integration: Projects and initiatives that explore methodologies and potential outcomes of combining data between organizations

While we believe focus is helpful in driving an efficient and effective funding process, we are open to adding and evolving priorities as new needs emerge within the GPC community or through RFPs when external funders seek to utilize the Innovation Fund to support priority projects.
